What is the difference between a Babyzen YOYO² with birth pack, Babyzen YOYO² with carrycot and Joolz Aer with carrycot?
The Babyzen YOYO² with birth pack is a buggy for babies up to 6 months. The mattress on which your baby is lying is completely horizontal. It has a five-point safety harness and when the zip-off footmuff is off it has no foot end. The Babyzen YOYO² with birth pack can be folded in its entirety and is therefore easy to take with you as hand luggage.
The Babyzen YOYO² with carrycot consists of two parts. The carrycot is a fully-fledged mini-sized crib (78 cm) and you can slide it together so that you have about half the size left. You fold the frame together. The carrycot does not officially comply with the IATA.
The Joolz Aer(+) with carry cot can be folded in its entirety and has a larger cot (86 cm) than the Babyzen carry cot. The Joolz Aer with carrycot is not allowed on the plane as hand luggage.
Which buggies can be taken on the plane as hand luggage?
The Babyzen YOYO², Joolz Aer(+) and Bugaboo Butterfly comply with international hand luggage guidelines (IATA). However, airlines can always deviate from the standard, so it is good to check how things are with your airline. The dimensions of the different buggies are listed in the webshop.
Which buggies can go completely horizontal?
The Babyzen YOYO² with birth pack is intended for babies up to 6 months and is completely horizontal (also not adjustable upwards). The Joolz Aer+ and Maxi Cosi Leona can be moved almost completely horizontally, they are only suited for babies under 6 months in the fully horizontal position.
What happens if the product is lost or stolen?
In case of theft or loss, we charge a maximum amount of 85% of the retail value.
What happens in case of damage?
The products are intended to make your journey more comfortable and we understand that the products will be used intensively. Minor/recoverable user damage is therefore no problem. This may include: loose seam, scratch on the frame or stain in the upholstery. If serious damage has occurred that renders the product unusable or safety is compromised, please let us know as soon as possible. In that case, the amount for the recovery will be charged. When the product has become unusable in its entirety, we will charge a maximum amount of 85% of the retail value.
What is damage insurance for?
You want to be able to enjoy your trip carefree and not have to pay attention to everything. We understand that the products are used intensively and that it can therefore happen that user damage such as spots and scratches can occur. If you find it a more pleasant idea to insure yourself against this, you can opt for damage insurance.
If serious damage has occurred due to incorrect use that makes the product unusable or safety is compromised, this is not covered by the damage insurance. Theft or loss is also not covered by the damage insurance. In that case, a maximum amount of 85% of the retail value will be charged.
Are all products always in stock?
Unfortunately, no. Since we work with rental products, our stock depends heavily on when and how items are returned. Holidays can be extended, delivery services may experience delays, and all products must be thoroughly inspected and cleaned after use. As a result, actual availability may vary.
For this reason, we apply a 24-hour processing time to check whether your order can be delivered exactly as requested. If anything differs, we’ll contact you directly.
PAYMENT
How is the deposit arranged?
There is a deposit amount on all Reisbaby products. The deposit amount can be found in the product details in the webshop. When the product has been returned and checked, the deposit will be refunded. This is done by automatic transfer to the same account number.
When do I pay the deposit?
There are 2 options for paying the deposit:
1. Immediately upon placing the order.
2. Before the rental date. In this case you will receive a payment link for the deposit a few days before the rental date. As soon as it has been paid, we will prepare the order.
What if my holiday gets extended?
Is your holiday running a bit longer, or would you like to enjoy your rental items a few extra days?
Just let us know! You can easily extend your rental for €3 per day, per product.
DELIVERY
How does the delivery work?
At Reisbaby, you can choose how you’d like to receive your rented travel items. There are three options available, so you can pick the one that best suits your situation:
- Pick up at our warehouse: All our products can be picked up from our warehouse in Hilvarenbeek.
- Pick up at kidsstore Knotsknetter: A selected range of our products is available for pickup at our partner kidsstore Knotsknetter in Amsterdam.
- Home/hotel delivery: Prefer to have the products delivered to your home/holiday location? That’s possible too, we ship throughout the Netherlands and Belgium via DPD.
How is the rental period calculated?
At Reisbaby, you choose the day you want us to ship your order (Monday through Friday). This day counts as the first day of your rental period.
The day you return the items is considered the last day of your rental period.
When will I receive my order?
If you choose the shipping option, you select the shipping date that suits you best. We ship orders from Monday to Friday. After that it normally takes 1 to 2 business days for your order to arrive (Monday through Saturday) with DPD.
As soon as we’ve shipped your order, you’ll receive an email with a tracking code so you can follow your delivery.
What if I receive my order too late?
We’re truly sorry if that happens, and we’ll gladly work with you to find a suitable solution!
If your order is delivered later than 2 business days after the shipping date you selected, we will refund the full amount once the order has been returned to us.
If your order arrives after your holiday has started, but still within the 2 business days after your chosen shipping date, we understand how frustrating that is. In that case, if the package is returned to us right away, you’ll only be charged for the shipping and processing costs.
In both cases, we’re happy to work with you personally to find an alternative solution, so you can still take the product you need on your trip!
Why do we work with a shipping date instead of a delivery date?
Deliveries are handled by an external carrier. They guarantee delivery within 1 to 2 business days, but the exact arrival time is out of our control. We don’t want to make promises we can’t keep!
What we can guarantee is the date we ship your order, because that part is fully in our hands.
What should I do if I need an order urgent?
In case of urgency (within 48 business hours), the best way to reach us is by sending a WhatsApp message or SMS to +31 6 13737528, or by emailing us at: info@reisbaby.nl.

You can pick up your order from our warehouse or from kidsstore Knotsknetter after placing and paying for it online.*

RETURN
How do I return my order?
Returning your order is easy. You can return your order in the same way you received it:
Shipped
You can easily print a return label via our website. Then drop off your package at a parcel point. Don’t forget to remove all old labels from the box.
Kidstore Knotsknetter
Did you pick up your order there? Then you can return it there as well. Our team will be happy to assist you!
Please note: It’s not possible to return shipped orders to kidsstore Knotsknetter, or to return Knotsknetter pickups via shipping. Returns must be made via the same method as delivery.
How do I ship back my order?
Simply follow the steps on our returns page.
What are the return costs?
If your order was shipped by us, you can return it for free with DPD.
You also have the option to return it via DHL or PostNL. In that case, you can purchase a return label through our platform at a discounted rate. Every box needs a unique returnlabel.
